What did she say?

Sometimes our days can get as gloomy as that. That morning when I shot this, was a Thursday morning. The skies were the darkest shade of grey I’ve ever seen, hanging high over the reservoir, a threatening color. The winds were strong and howling. The scene was pretty scary, it looked like something out of a “end-of-the-world” movie. It pretty much describes my life now. Dark, grey, gloomy, boring, negative. Passing phase, I hope?

It’s finally the weekends and I can once again, BREATHE. SIP is starting to be, Suck-It-Up instead. Any amount of shit/manual work they make you do, there is no way, absolutely no way you can complain, what to do? Suck it up. Initally I thought we weren’t involve in X’mas production work (which is the worst season because there’s A LOT of work to do), but now, they want to include us in part of the production of props. Only because they want to make the best of all the interns and save money! Wow. Thanks, but we don’t really need this experience. I can’t wait to end this. Visual Merchandising is fun, indeed, but factors like the working environment, the people, the job scope, varies. I think boutique VM might be more suitable and less taxing. 

 

After working 2 months in Robs, I would say that PW and I have started to dish up the dirt about everyone. I’m not saying they are mean and nasty, they are nice people, but behind that disgusting facade lies a even dirtier truth. I know no one is perfect, but that’s just…. horrid.  

If there is ever, ever a feedback form ah………………. HA.

Okay… I don’t really want to think about what lies ahead either. School. Ugh.

 

End of angsty post. 

That thing you’ve got behind you is amazing.

I love sundays where I could have the whole entire day just shopping, window shopping, anything as long as it’s got to start with a S and ends with a P. Of course, this has to be done on a fortnightly basis. You don’t want to get a burn out on your favourite hobby. No I wouldn’t like that very much. So yayyyy, we went to Ion! 

 

Oh yes, we had MacDonalds breakkie. My favourtie. ♥

Everything, is friggin in that mall. (No, it’s not my first trip there by the way!) River Island, Zara, Topshop, Uniqlo etc etc. How conveninent! We don’t have to start running around everywhere just to look for things anymore. I dragged B everywhere… hehe! I saw many MANY items with hefty price tags… annoying, isn’t it? OH OH OH… and with my new hair, I can wear hats and look good in them! Ohmygosh, finally please.

 

We had a lot of fun simply window shopping and I am thankful that B has a similar interest with me. About fashion and styles and stuff. I can’t imagine being with someone who doesn’t love what I love because it would mean huge compromising on my part. I live, breathe, and dig fashion, not to mention, to work and look at it everyday. 

Oh, and B got this really expensive blazer from Topman. It is SO HAWT. Navy blue with white seams (no, not piping, though those were nice too), ahhh, I wanna borrow it? Hehe! Boyfriend blazer literally. I don’t understand how he managed to spend like so much at one go. I don’t do it on myself, would probably kill me to do so. I can accumulate many items to that amount, just not, one item = that amount. Haha. 

I should start saving up and splurge it on Taiwan. Anyone reckons Taiwan’s fashion is good?

What does it take to get us off the hook?

We finally went to Hadgen Daz! After like, weeks and weeks of planning to head to our favourite ice-cream place. Though I know Ben n Jerrys have the most outrageous and fun flavours, I’ll always return to the classic flavours at Hadgen Daz because the quality is simply unbeatable!

MMMM, CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW HAPPY WE WERE! 

While waiting for our ice-creams we got bored. B looks quite cute in a pink tee! That’s cos he’s not overly huge and muscular, hahaha!

 

Our Ice-cream(s) finally came! They didn’t have strawberry cheesecake then That’s my favourite flavour, followed by cookies and cream and macadamia. Heehee. The brownie, is fantastic! We couldn’t get enough of it. It’s mouth-watering, must try!!!

Probably the last update of the week while I bask myself in the bliss of going to warehouse… then to in-store set-ups, and night work, all in one week! Bliss at its peak. We interns, are truly utilised to our maximum potential, how lovely! When they say, Manpower, they literally need “Man” power. Please, do specify for “Men” interns next time.

On random sundays like that, we’d take a stroll down to wherever, shop at random stores that catch our eyes, satisfy our outrageous food cravings and laugh till our sides ache. It doesn’t matter what we do, it doesn’t matter how boring / interesting it gets, we just enjoy the company of each other, till dusk reaches our eyes.

I’m sorry for the lack of proper + interesting + exciting updates. I’m simply too drained to blog. If you’ve been following my twitter, you’d have noticed that I have stayed in Robs for 9am till 10am the next day for night work, sometime this week. It was insane. Extremely insane. I have never been awake for this many hours, yes not even during life in Design school. Now, I’m left with a bad sleep debt and mood swings that leave me completely amazed at myself. I completely blew it on one promoter, and another random group of aunties who conveniently took our seats right under our noses. Don’t mess with the PMS-ing kiddo.
